Room 302 — The Atlas

The map so far

Some people collect places.
I connect them.

An astrophysics habit that survived the career change: plot the points, draw the lines. So here are my journeys and logs, drawn as a proper chart in four plates.

Childhood entries — a world’s worth of them — predate this board’s installation and are archived with the family.

Why the map matters

I grew up in motion, and every city taught a different unit of the same course: oceans teach quiet force, deserts teach clear skies, cold cities teach warm rooms. By the time I chose a trade, I’d already apprenticed in a dozen lobbies without knowing it.

Home isn’t where the map ends. It’s where you start hosting.

The stamps have piled up faster than the addresses — the Southwest and a Rocky Mountain detour, the Northeast in every direction, a Caribbean run, and two proper European campaigns: Trip I threaded Paris, Munich, Berlin, Salzburg, Vienna, and Prague in one run; Trip II took Lisbon, Madrid, Hampshire, and London — with Barcelona on its own ticket. The blinking entries are where I may go next. Excellent hospitality is practiced at its highest level in a handful of cities, and I intend to know them from the inside. The board updates when the decision does.
